                 of the Dark Rune is seen apart from the battle.

Button Style: Any.

Physical Description:  Malak is largely built, tanned, handsome and calm looking.  His eyes are large and green; mossy pools that lack emotion.  He wears a long black cloak that covers his armour and clothing until he removes it or is walking (glimpse).  Strapped to his back is a sheathe carrying his sword, Ambrose.  When his cloak is removed, he wears a black chestplate of armour, a thick black belt, black gloves, black leggings and black boots - all with their own silver trimmings - plain but nice looking.

1st round opening: Malak stands at the edge of the cliff until his opponent has arrived.  He slowly turns around, smirks, lifts his right hand slowly to Ambrose's hilt, and draws her - then extends the mighty blade horizontally, and moves it back to rest on his shoulder.

Openings: Malak chuckles/says "Hmph", and runs his hand through his hair vainly, then moves into his battle stance.

Special Openings:

VS Atna:  ATNA:
           Atna stares coldly at malak "Well, old friend, time to see which            is stronger, Shadow or Darkness"

         MALAK:
           "It will be a shame to see you fall to my blade."  Malak looks
           sad and hesitant.

VS Alex:  ALEX:
           Steps forward close to Malakk, looks toward the ground. "You've              taught me much of what i know.." Looks up "but I will defeat                 you...somehow."

          MALAK:
           "Indeed, we shall see if you paid attention to my teachings."
           He smirks.

VS Clops: CLOPS:
           Clops clutches his arm a momment, staring at the ground, then                slowly raises his gaze to meet Malak's as he draws his sword.
           "I let you live before, but I hold no mercy for traitors, you                will feel pain."

          MALAK:
           "I always have admired your bravery.  Though I beseech you: 
            don't confuse it with stupidity."  He twirls Ambrose around
            expertly with a scowl on his face.

VS Gwydion: GWYDION:
            Gwydion glares at him, swinggs his rapier back and forth "I             despise traitors."

            MALAK:
            Malak runs his hand through his hair and shrugs, "It seems
            you've inherited your father's arrogance.  What a shame."

VS Karine:  KARINE:
            "You've let me down.  You're going to wish you never did."

            MALAK:
            "I will always feel a desire to be with you.  Unfortunately,
            it is impossible for that to be."

VS NightB:  NIGHTBLADE:
            "So old friend, it comes down to this.  No matter...
            He quickly unsheaths his sword.

            MALAK:
            "This will be an epic battle, my dear friend."
            He unsheathes his sword, flips it up in the air, tightens
            his gloves, then catches it.

Taunt:  He shoves his sword into the ground, tightens his gloves, then
        retrieves his sword.

Victory Poses:  Malak sheathes his sword, touches his forehead, then lips,
                then gestures his hand towards the loser, and walks away.

Draw:   Malak sheathes his sword, runs a hand through his hair, and shrugs.

Loss to time:  Malak sheathes his sword, "Until we meet again."  He walks                 off.

Sayings:   "Calm yourself, it's hindering what little skill you have."
           "I'd sooner fight a more interesting shadow!"
           "Hah, I see you're getting the hang of this."

Example Combo:  Slashes horizontally three times whilst dashing,                             headbutts, slashes upwards - sending the opponent
                upwards - leaps up, and slashes the enemy back onto the ground.

Character Notes: 

Moves:
Slash, upward slash, kick, headbutt.

throw 1 - Malak grabs his enemy by the neck, headbutts them, then pushes           them away from him.

throw 2 - Malak back-roll throws them like Ken/Ryu in Street Fighter.

overhead - Malak slashes downwards with incredible force whilst jumping.

anticipation counter - Malak leaps out of the way of the enemy and smacks                           them incredibly hard with the flat of his Ambrose                            blade.

Specials:
Dark Wave:  Malak slashes Ambrose, releasing a dark wave of energy at the
            opponent.
Dark Fist:  Malak punches in a downwards Arc; his fist covered with a dark
            electric field (if successful, electrucutes).  Short punch.
Sword Dance:Malak charges forward, swinging his sword incredibly fast and
            powerfully for a short while.
Obliterate: Malak spins 360degrees with his sword extended, once, slamming
            it into his opponent and sending them flying back.


Supers:

Rage:       Sword dance is longer, and is combined with dark wave.  Malak
            slashes and roars angrily; Ambrose releasing energy waves as
            he moves.

Dark Rune:  Malak is surrounded by a dark force.  Ambrose levitates infront
            of him.  He grows large, black angel wings, and the Dark Rune
            symbol flashes.  He turns into a hematite figure (shining black)             with black angel wings - the Dark Rune.  He is like this
            temporarily.            

desperation:  Malak slashes upwards with Ambrose, and a dark energy in
              the shape of another sword flies down diagonally from the sky.

killing blow:
              Malak lifts them up by their neck, throws them up and away               from him, and dark slashes them - only the energy hitting               them.
