Alaska

I rented a car in Anchorage.
It�s where I ended up.
I�d never driven on snow before,
But I didn�t care.
The right place to be;
The wrong way to get there.
So I drove slowly
And found an elk in the middle of the road.
I was afraid to get too close
For fear he would attack the car.
I caused a traffic jam
What with that one car behind me.
He was pretty patient.
I wasn�t.
Got me into trouble back home.
Can�t go back there again.
Maybe I can�t run away forever,
But I think I got myself a pretty good head start.
