ALLISON KIGER, flutist
    Native of Morristown, New Jersey, Allison Kiger has given performances with ensembles and as a soloist in the US, Canada, England and Poland, some of which were broadcast on BBC-Radio, CBC-Radio Canada and WNYC-FM in New York.
     She recently made her debut at the Bar Harbor Music Festival in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Some of her notable NY performances include being a member of the Jupiter Symphony, conducted by the late Jens Nygaard and also appearing with the Dave Brubeck Mariachi Orchestra. She has also played with the New Jersey Symphony, the Springfield Symphony (MA), the Garden State Philharmonic, the Allentown Symphony, and l'Orchestre de la Francophonie Canadienne.
   Allison Kiger is an active chamber musician, and has served as Director and Principal Flutist of the Monteux Chamber Music Festival in Hancock, Maine, and the Music at Macculloch Hall Series with the Metropolitan Virtuosi in Morristown, NJ. Ms. Kiger studied music and flute performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London, McGill University in Montreal, and Indiana University.
