HIROMI �FUKUDA
P I A N I S T
               Pianist Hiromi Fukuda performs actively both as solo and collaborative pianist in the United States and her native Japan. Besides playing numerous concerts with singers and instrumentalists at Juilliard, she has recently performed in Alice Tully Hall, Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Steinway Hall, Yamaha Salon, the residence of the Consulate General of Japan in New York, Seiji Ozawa Hall in Tanglewood, Harris Hall in Aspen, University of Vermont Recital Hall and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
            She made her concerto debut with the NHK Danyu Orchestra at the age of twelve, and has since appeared as soloist with the World Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo City Philharmonic.�� In 2005 and 2006, Ms. Fukuda was a vocal piano fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center where she worked with such distinguished artists as James Levine and Dawn Upshaw.� Highly in demand as an outstanding collaborative pianist, Ms. Fukuda has been invited to Aspen Music Festival, Robert McDuffie Festival for Strings, and Green  Mountains Chamber Music Festival as a staff pianist.
             Ms. Fukuda received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in solo piano from Tokyo College of Music and her Master's degree in collaborative piano from the Juilliard School.� She is currently a doctoral fellow at Juilliard School where she studies with
Jonathan Feldman.
