2007 EVENTS
Amanda Evans began studying the harp at the age of 12 while oversees in Ankara, Turkey. Upon returning to the United States, she entered the pre-college program at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut, where she received a Performer's Certificate.
She earned her Undergraduate degree in Performance cum laude from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY, where she spent all four of her years there as the principal of both the Symphony Orchestra and the Harp Ensemble. During this time she also received a scholarship to study at the Eastern Music Festival in North Carolina. She is about to complete her first year of graduate work at the Eastman School of Music, where she is a teaching assistant for the harp department.
