Drawing on personal experience, and deriving inspiration from relevant human challenges and the music of great artists from Elton John to Dredg, Rishloo combines their influences with a uniquely climactic, emotionally intense modern rock sound creating an original musical experience that still retains familiarity. With an infallible purpose and an imaginative style, Rishloo aims to help begin a musical revolution by reaching out to all those who would dare to turn the tide.
Rishloo invests in everything they do creatively including art, promotion and the music itself. Since forming in late 2002, they have been steadily escalating their promotion and interaction with fans to develop a strong following. Playing a variety of places, from small bars and venues to campuses, festivals and amphitheaters they have been very well received by all-ages and 21+ audiences alike with their intensely captivating live show and powerful music.
The band released their debut album, Terras Fames, in August 2004, which has received rave reviews. Now through the support of KISW and several other local stations, it has maintained radio play and great exposure to new fans. Having moved in together, the members of Rishloo now combine their lifestyles as well as their influences and creativity. Recently, they have been hard at work touring the Western US promoting the album while writing new music for their next album.
