INTRODUCTION
Museums are a great place to visit and learn information about the past.  Our school is in need of a virtual museum to teach others about Native American cultures.  You have been hired as a historian to research information and create the museum.  In order to do your job well, you will have to go back in time.  You are now living life as a Native American, between the 1500's and 1600's.
Native American Webquest
Grade 3 - Peshine Avenue School
TASK
You will be a member of one of the tribe's of the Eastern Woodlands, Southwest, Northwest Coastal, or Plains. Your tribe will research information and create artifacts depicting Native American daily lifestyle.  The final project will be to create a virtual museum using PowerPoint.  Your tribe's slide show will be shared with fellow classmates to teach them about your tribe's culture and daily activities.
PROCESS
1.  You will be divided into teams of 2-3 students by the chief (teacher).

2.  As a team, you will select one of the tribes from the list.  This is now your team name.

3.  Decide which members will be responsible for each category of the summary sheet.

4.  You will each then read and research the information about your particular tribe independently.  As you research, you will fill in the
summary web.  Complete this web online and only print it out when complete.  Remember to save it.  Once your group has the summary chart completed, you will use that information to create your virtual museum.

5.  Open PowerPoint and create new slide.  Be sure to include a title slide with Tribe name and group members.  A slide description and picture about each category below needs to be included in your museum:
