Green Bear=Great Day
Yellow Bear=Warning
Red Bear=Thinking Desk
Blue Bear=Severe Behavior/Office
A Bear chart is used for tracking students' behavior in the classroom. Each morning the children put a green bear in their pocket on our chart. Students receive a verbal warning before they are asked to exchange their green bear for a yellow bear. If the poor behavior continues, students are asked to exchange their yellow bear for a red bear. Your child's daily bear color is indicated in their BEAR folder each day.
Our classroom environment is arranged for your child's success. Children are engaged in active learning activities which allow them the opportunity to move around the room. This really motivates students and deters poor behavior.
