Our class is very excited about our new project - The Gingerbread Man Project! We signed up online at Jenuinetech.com. Our job was to read The Gingerbread Man story, and then each child wrote their own alternate ending to the story. Below, you will find some very creative endings from some of my 5th graders. Some children also decorated a gingerbread man.

...When they open the stove the gingerbread man did not jump out the stove and when they get him he said no!!

...The little old man and the little old woman get the gingerbread man in time. The old fox, the old man, and the old woman got a piece of the gingerbread man to eat.

...The old man and the old woman caught the Gingerbread man and split him for the old man and the old woman and the cow and the pig and the butcher man.

...They all got eaten by the fox. Then the fox died by hunters. The hunters ate the fox.

...The gingerbread man ran as fast as he can and he stopped at the fox and said you can't catch me. He said stop I' too tired to run. So he gave himself up and got eaten.

...The little gingerbread man found a horse and the little gingerbread man asked the horse can you send me to the other side. So the horse did and when he did not know it the horse threw him up in the air and ate the little gingerbread man.

...A little man and his dog made a gingerbread man and they made a motorcycle. When they opened the stove the gingerbread man started to run and the dog started to run after him. He couldn't catch him. So Chuck Noris started to run after him. He jumped to catch him and ran home to eat him.

...Them people was running after him and there was a fox, The gingerbread man pushed him in the lake. They ran after the gingerbread man and he hit them with a broom and the pig fell in the mud. Then he rode on a plane and the others were on there. He went to New York. Then he ran to a place and got a motorcycle and left. He was in a little car when he ran over the fox's toe. When he was in the plane again he found a friend. It was another gingerbread. He then got in a car. There was a dog. That dog was chasing him fast. He was catching up and he ate both of the gingerbreads with a glass of milk. Then the people chased after the dog. They got mad. They got so mad they wanted to get that dog because the dog did not save them anything. But..there was one more gingerbread they found. Then, that gingerbread went on a plane and left. He did not get eaten but the others did. He kept running and he hit a person and ran. He was still alive.
