Our class is very excited about our next new project - The Great Egg Roll Online Project. We signed up online at Technospud.com. We have asked Mrs. Patterson & Mrs. Purcell's kindergarten class to participate as our guest rollers. Each child will roll one plastic egg filled with 3 tablespoons of dried rice. We will have a rolling platform of butcher paper that is 3 feet wide and several feet long. Each child will roll their egg and we will mark each where it stops or rolls off the mat. We will measure in inches. After each child from both classes rolls, we will average the total of inches rolled. We will then combine our results online with other classes around the United States.
As an added bonus, we will also be participating in the online "Fashion Show." Each child will decorate a hard boiled egg any way they choose (at home). The eggs will then be judged by our Art teacher Mr. Mitchell. The winning egg will premiere on the Great Egg Roll site at Technospud.net!

We had 31 rollers in total! We each had to take turns and roll our egg down the yellow run way...
Results:
PreKers averaged 181 inches (18 rollers)
Kinders averaged 141 inches (13 rollers)
