Tara added milk to one of the mugs then sat back waiting for Willow to join her. A few minutes later there was a gentle tap on the door followed by Willow�s soft voice
�Are you awake baby?� The redhead enquired as she quietly entered the room.
�Yeah Will, I�m awake.�
Tara noticed that Willow was carrying another tray filled with various breakfast foods, including waffles, heart shaped pancakes (made with just a little help from Dawn), toast, cereal and various syrups and jams.
�You didn�t have to do all this.�
�Oh, this is just the beginning.� The smaller wiccan replied with a distinct hint of excitement in her voice.
She joined Tara on the bed and placed a tender, loving kiss on the blonde�s lips before handing her a large pink envelope.
�Happy birthday baby.�
�Thank you.� Tara opened the envelope; it contained a card showing two teddy bears holding hands, surrounded by red and gold glittery hearts and, written in curly silver letters, were the words �Happy Birthday to a Special Girlfriend�.
The message inside brought tears to Tara�s eyes.
My darling Tara,
There are not enough words in existence to even begin to describe how much I love you and how much better my life is because you�re in it. You are the reason I wake up smiling, the reason my dreams are full of sunshine and sweet music.
I still find it hard to believe that I actually found you and every day I have to remind myself that I�m not dreaming, that my life really is this wonderful.
You are the most beautiful, incredible, amazing person I have ever met and just to know you is the greatest blessing I've ever received.
I know I�ve told you before, but you own my heart, you complete my soul, you give me reason to breathe. I love you Tara Maclay, and I hope I can make this Birthday as special as you make every moment of my life.
