KIN6WEN'S DAILYdish.
MARCHSPOTlight.

For the month of MARCH, I'd like to shed the SPOTlight on the beautiful women of India... (OK - honestly, I was trying to do something on the women of the Philippines, but the photos I was looking for were not available just yet... in DUE time, k?! In due time... LOL!)

Celina Jaitley was the winner of the 2001 Femina Miss India Universe title, and went on to compete @ Miss Universe in Puerto Rico that year. She took the 4th Runner-Up position. All I gotta say is that Celina is H-O-T! *whew* She's DAYAM hot... this picture (taken from IndianCeleb.com) actually doesn't do her too much justice, but it's good enough. The girl is smart, hot, intelligent, hot, and just - uh - HOT!

Priyanka Chopra was the winner of the Femina Miss India World title in 2000, I believe. She went on to grab the title of Miss World, the same year her Universe counterpart, Lara Dutta, won the Miss Universe title in Cyprus. And to add to those two feats, their Asia-Pacific counterpart, Diya Mirza, won the plum Miss Asia-Pacific title in Manila in 2000. Also very hot, Priyanka is building her way to become a "leading lady" in Bollywood.

Sushmita Sen is the woman who started it all. She wasn't the first successful Indian woman in the international pageant circuit, but she was the first to become Miss Universe. She won the plum title of Femina Miss India Universe 1994, and went on to compete with the universe in Manila that same year, beating out favorites Minorka Mercado (Venezuela), Carolina Gomez (Colombia), and even Charlene Gonzales (Philippines). Probably known more for her telegence and intelligence, Sush, has since, moved on to do modelling and Bollywood films. Her World counterpart, Aishwarya Rai, won the Miss World title that same year - leading the way for future Miss Indias to take the international beauty arena by storm.

From AMERICAN IDOLs to MISS INDIAs, the SPOTlight is ON in MARCH!
