How would you live like the Romans?
A scavenger hunt
Introduction:

You have been selected to participate in a top-secret experiment.  NASA recently developed its most innovative travel device yet: a time machine.  The United States government has decided to test this machine by visiting an ancient culture that has influenced our government.  Those who choose to accept the mission will be journeying back in time to the city of Rome during the height of the Roman Empire.   It is very important that these time-travelers blend in, so as not to disturb the ancient Roman culture .  This scavenger hunt will introduce you to daily life in the Empire.  You will use the web resources to answer six important questions.  After gathering the information, you must decide whether you are willing to embark upon this adventure.  Remember: once you are in Rome, you must do everything done by the Romans!
