File Finding Technique

If you have misplaced a document, a Word document for
example, a simple search for .DOC may bring up hundreds of
possibilities. To help narrow it down, if you can use part
of the name, such as Joe*.DOC, then you may have better
luck.

If you are not sure about the file's name, but you are sure
that Aunt Bessie's Apple Pie recipe is in the document,
then in the Search/Find application, add "Bessie" or
"Apple" to the Text section, and perform the search.  After
you find the document, file it away in the correct folder
for future reference.
