Looks:
Miroku has black hair just long enough to pull into a small ponytail, and light blue eyes. He usually wears his monk robes, black with purple over it, and blue um... tights? underneath them. You see these pants when he pulls his robes up a little in order to work better. He also wear a glove-like sleeve on his right hand, with prayer beads over it. This is what seals up his air rip unless removed. He also has one earring in his right ear, and 2 on his left.
Weapons:
One, of course, would be that void in his right hand. A curse, yes, but also a powerful weapon. If an enemy attacked him, all he would have to do is remove the beads, and suck the monster in. Finished. And look, ma! No blood!
He also carries a buddhist monk's staff (I forgot the name of it), and uses that as a weapon before his hand if possible. He even fought Inuyasha with it, blocking Tetsusaiga's attack! He also can use ofudas against his enemies, although I haven't gotten to see it yet...
Up Side:
He's a polite, honorable, wise, kind, humorous monk who befriends Kagome and her group, and he is the one who tells Inuyasha that Naraku killed Kikyo. Plus he's a good fight, and very fast. He even manages to keep pace with Inuyasha most of the time, and is strong enough to be considered a challenging opponent to the hanyou.
Down side:
Miroku. Is. A. Lecher.
He's a pervert. Now, really, he's not THAT bad, he just steals, lies, and tries to get every beautiful woman to bear his child. I know what you're thinking, and yes, I'm sure he's a monk. You see, the time is coming soon when Miroku will be drawn into his own air rip, and he wishes to have a son to carry on the family mission of finding and destroying Naraku.
Over All:
He's pretty funny, and a cool person. Pretty smart at times, but sometimes women comes before work. He loves Sango, but doesn't ask her to bare his child since (many people think, myself included), he fears that if he were to die from his curse, he would leave someone he loved all alone, and hurt her. So he can be sweet, and kind, and thoughtful, and - HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU PUT THAT HAND, MONK!
