| Kaede is the younger sister to Kikyou, but she treats Kagome like her own daughter (or granddaughter), and is actually a good healer and pretty wise. Looks: As an old woman, she has gray hair, and tends to be hunched over. She wears an eye patch over her right eye, although no one knows what happened to her eye. She's also a miko, and so she wears a red hakama and white kimono like Kikyou does. Weapons: Although she's a miko, we never see her miko powers. But she does use a bow and arrow, like Kagome and Kikyou. She tends to stay home and heal the other's though... Up Side: She's wise, and knows just about everything. She tends to view Kagome as family, and even accepts Inuyasha willingly. Down side: She's old, and not in the best shape anymore, so she tends to stay home rather than travel with the group. Overall: A great ally, she teaches Kagome about healing, and helps out the others whenever she can, like when she told them that Naraku was once Onigumo, a thief who wanted Kikyou and a tainted Shikon no Tama. |
