August 4th, 2000 -Kim accused of assaulting her twin sister. More... August 7th, 2000 -Eminem files to divorce Kim. More... June 4th, 2000 -Eminem catches Kim kissing another man. Early morning Kim was outside Hot Rocks Cafe in Michigan. She was with two of her friends, one being John Guerra. John and Kim kissed as Eminem pulled in. Eminem pulled out an unloaded gun and was said to have threatened and wrestle with Guerra. Eminem reportedly told Guerra he was going to kill him. Guerra later said he was scared to death and that Eminem was crazy. Guerra was pistol whipped. Eminem was charged. Kim was also charged for disturbing the peace. Kim later said the kiss was innocent and Eminem over reacted. Guerra said quite the opposite saying kim and himself were embracing. June 7th, 2000 -Kim's explanatory letter to Free Press. Three days after the "kissing" incident with John Guerra Kim decided to pen a letter to the Free Press explaining her side of the story. In the letter she points out that because her husband is an entertainer, that it doesn't mean there personal life is for the public. She also talks about how Eminem has no problem making her look like a cheater. She even says that when she hears stories about Eminem being unfaithful with groupies she doesn't run over and check-up on him. July 8th, 2000 -Kim attempts suicide. Early morning Kim attempted to kill herself by slitting both of her wrists with razor blades. This coming after she had just been to Eminem's concert the night before. Kim's mother Kathleen Sluck called 911. Kim was found crying and proclaiming "there must be a better place" to emergency crew. Kim was taken to a nearby hospital where she recovered and was released. On July 9th while Kim was still in the hospital Eminem reportedly went to see her and then left back for the "Up in Smoke Tour". August 4th, 2000 -Kim accused of assaulting her twin sister. Kim's twin sister accused Kim of assaulting her following an Ontario night club outing. Police accused Kim of committing domestic violence. They said Kim hit her sister in the face and head. August 7th, 2000 -Eminem files to divorce Kim. First DotMusic.com reported the split between Eminem and Kim. And later on * date * Mtv confirmed the split. Mtv was sent a letter from Eminem's record label stating that Eminem indeed had filed for divorce. It went on to say that Eminem and Kim had been apart since the "kissing" incident with John Guerra. Eminem also made clear that he felt divorce was the only option. Eminem had also reportedly been seeing a waitress but he pointed out that it was nothing serious and that it most likely wouldn't last. With this Kim's suicide attempt has a motive, being apart and a divorce. |
