Well, a lot has happened since my last post.

We have a new dog!  Ramsey is his name, yes named after Dave Ramsey.    He's the sweetest dog.  His temperament is amazing.  He and Diggs are quickly becoming friends.  Ramsey came to us from Arkansas where he was found abandonded in an empty house.  After a few weeks with a foster mom, my cousin heard that a Red Dobe was in need of a permament home.  Thanks Casey!  She called us on Thursday and by Sunday we were headed to Little Rock to pick him up.  The picture above was taken out in the "boat house".  He's still getting used to his knew home, but after having him with us for almost a week, we both love him so much!

Speaking of Dave Ramsey... on Friday, Geof and I called EdFinancial and confirmed that I owe $00.00 on my studnet loan.  Wahooo!  We finally paid that sucker off.  We have one more debt to pay-off and then we'll be completely debt free except the house.  We've been a bit obsessed with paying things off and endured a bit of teasing from friend/family, but the light at the end of the tunnel is bright  and shinning strong.  We're almost there!

School is wrapping up with the chaotic frenzy we call end of the year. This week we had two field trips and Field Day.  I slept very well on Friday.  Only 14 more days to go.  I also found out that I won't get any pay for days I've accumulated.  I have 14 days to use or I lose them.  I'm not sure my principal would approve for me to be off, but it's a nice thought.

Geof was able to ski behind the boat as it hit the 2000 hour mark.  For those of you who don't understand (or care) that's an obscene amount of use for a boat.  I think most people will put around 50 hours a year on their boats.  We got he boat in 2002 with around 600 hours on it already.  I'll let you do the math, but anyway you figure it, there one thing for sure:  Geof is not your average boater.
