The first blog entry was a little weak.  I'm still trying to figure out how all this stuff works.  Since the web page has not been updated for a while, let me see if there's anything you've missed.  I left off in July, so I'll start with August.

August: It was hot and school started.  Geof and I went to New York for a memorial for Nana Gert.  We met so many family members that I had only heard about.  It was a wonderful trip and I learned so much about Ellie's family.

October: Not too much that I can remember here.  Neighborhood Halloween party, that was fun.

November:  Ellie came for the week of Thanksgiving and the three of us went down to San Antonio and Austin.   Another great trip.  We had fun.  I'll try to post some pictures soon.  Jackie and Biggie also made the trip to Texas for Turkey Day.  We (Geof, Ellie, Jackie and I) were all invited over to Tina's for a wreath decorating contest and some fantastic feasting!  Jackie took home the top prize with her "Nascar" wreath. 

December:  Mom, Dad, Cricket, Kelley and Matt came for Christmas.  All those years hosting parties in the Barbie Dream House payed off.  With a lot of help from Tina and Brookshire's (local grocery store that cooked the turkey for me)  I had a lovely tree and a dining room with a table full of good food.  The day after Christmas we all went golfing in Farmersville.  The picture was taken using the self timer and a fence post.

January: Jackie and Biggie came back to celebrate the new year and this time Miles came with them.  We ALL ( the neighbors) went to Southern Junction.  Mark and Miles rode the bull.  Pictures coming soon.
