No, I didn't take this picture... Would that I could... This is Pietra di Bismantova, a remarkable outcropping of rock where Alle and I spent a portion of our Valentine's Day. The roads that surround it are some of the courses that Alle has ridden in the recent past, and it's one of his favorite places. It's also one of those places where, when you first see it, you feel a rather awed sense of something greater - a vaguely "Stonehenge" sort of thing, somehow. I'm hoping that, by this Autumn, I'll be able to climb it with Alle. |
