Like a broken record,
I can see out last conversation.
It seemed as if it were only yesterday.
Only yesterday, we held hands.
Over and over it plays.
Haunting me with each waking moment.
Why,
Why does it have to be this way?
I can still see the tears in your eyes.
The smell of sweet summer lilacs on your shirt.
This dream is never ending.
Why did you leave me?
Leave me lying here to die.
Dying slowly piece by piece.
You broke my heart,
But most importantly,
You broke my soul.
I can still hear your angry voice
Over and over again.
Just like a broken record.
These shards that you left behind will never heal
But I know in my heart that life will go on.
I just wish,
That you hadn�t left me out here to die.
