Who could�ve known,
What this day would have in store for me�

I look before me, and what I see..
Cliffs; high and sharp�
Jagged, air whipping�
Frightening.
Below; the sea�
And above me; the sky�
What to do, what to chose?
So many options.. and yet-

The twilight.. It�s blinding...
The darkness, ensnarling.
Two choices�
The wind whispers to me�
Jump.
Whistling in my ears
This sound that will not stop�
The waves splash harder, louder
Louder and louder they get,
they that will not cease
Screaming in my ears..
Go away! Just go away!
I scream, my voice lost in the turmoil.

Water sprays against my face,
An angel sings to me
Am I dreaming?
Have you come to take me away?

The wind picks up.
I close my eyes, waiting for the end.
No..
My will as strong as titanium.
Me� I�ll be what I wanna be.

The wind whips past.

I hold my hands close to my heart.
Fearlessly, I look before me�
Broken tears�
Broken, fading� falling.
Inches away.. And then�

I can see beyond the light.
Beyond that which troubles me most
Beyond the darkness..
And into the twilight.
So majestic art thee
Soaring through the sky
My heart, flying free

Don�t let go.
A cold chill goes down my back.
Looking down, I can see the cliff,
the ocean�
And my home.
Where will I go from here?
What is beyond this realm?
This, I wonder, as I reach higher�
Higher into the sky.
Arms outstretched,
I can feel it, taste it� almost there.
This tantalizing feeling�
Who knew?
Who could�ve known?
What this day had in store for me.
