Age: 17 (or 67, depends on whether you count those fifty years)
Personality: Agressive, Protective, Good at Guising emotions, but caring nonetheless. His motto is fight now, talk later.
History: Inuyasha was born with a Ningen mother, and a Inu Youkai father. He had always been shunned, even by his brother, Sesshoumaru. When Inuyasha had heard of a legendary jewel that could grant any wish, and multiply a demons strangth, he eagerly sought it out; hell bent on becoming a full demon at last.
But when Inuyasha found the village that the Miko who protected the jewel resided in, Something he hadn't expected happened. He fell in love.
At first, Inuyasha didn't think of it that way. He would simply try to steal the jewel, and the Miko would stop him each time, but never hurt him.
Kikyou was her name, and Inuyasha then on began to think of it as a game; he would try and see how close he could get to her and the jewel, and each time she let him get a little bit further, before blocking him once again.
Kikyou told him that they were alike in many ways, and that she would give him the Shikon No Tama, if he promised to become fully Human.
Inuyasha agreed. But soon everything was twisted around, and bya strange twist of fate, Kikyou pinned him to the Goshinboku with her sacred arrow.
And that's when Kagome comes in...
Species: Ningen, Miko
Age: 15
Personality: Caring, Brave, practically a normal school girl... Ok, so not really. Some what stubborn, and she fights for what she believes is right.
History: Kagome's fifteenth birthday. That's the day when it had all begun. She was walking out of the house to go to school, when her brother, Souta, informed her that Buyo had gone missing into the well shrine. Kagome hesitantly went to go retrieve their fat neko, when upon finding him, a large centipede Youkai erupted forth from the well, and pulled her in.
Kagome managed to get free by shooting forth a power from her hand, as she landed at the bottom of the well..
400 years into the past no less.
Kagome, thinking that she had just somehow got lost... went looking around, and she got excited when she saw the Goshinboku was still in the same place. The excitement turned to shock when she realized.
There. Was. A. Cute. guy. With. Dog. Ears. Pinned. To. The. tree.
After going up to him, and giving his doggy ears a tweak to see if they were real, Kagome got kidnapped by the villagers, who thought she was going to invade them
Kaede, the village Miko of the time, took Kagome into her care, as Kagome explained that she wasn't from this time period.
Enter Mistress Centipede, who chases after Kagome, screaming about how the Shikon No Tama is in her body. Kagome runs into the forest, and meets up with Inuyasha, who has somehow woken from his eternal slumber. He yells at Kagome, calling her Kikyou, and asked why she didn't just blow the demon away with her pwoers, like she had done to him. Kagome grumbled, and yelled back." Watashi wa Kagome! Ka-Go-Me!"
Later on, after Kagome frees Inuyasha from the tree so he can kill the centipede demon, Inuyasha tried to kill Kagome and get the jewel from her. Kaede releases a rosary, which latches itself onto Inuyasha. She tells Kagome to say the word that will subdue his spirit. Kagome thinks for a moment. Puppy ears... and then..."OSUWARI!"
Kagome finds herself getting into more trouble the next day, as a crow Youkai steals the jewel from her, and a small village boy. Kagome take the cros leg, attaches it to the arrow, and shoots for the body.
The crow blows up... unfortunately... So does the Shikon No Tama.
Inuyasha and Kagome form an uneasy truce, and set out to find the jewel shards.
