Next stop Maryland!

I almost pulled an �all-nighter' like the last convention�because I was trying to finish my spear. But it still wasn�t done when we left around 3pm. ^^; I spent most of my ride working on the little trinkets, sewing and pricking my fingers. ^^; We stopped at a rest stop between Penn and Delaware. While my father joined the long line of cars waiting for gas, my mom and I hit the restrooms and the KFC. Yum? After we (and the car) had our fuel, we hit the highway. By then, we were halfway to Baltimore. *cheers* ^.^

Displacement of objects

At about 8pm, we reached Baltimore. We actually found the convention center before the hotel. There were so many people picking up their badges. (Pre-reg. badges can be picked up on Thursday from 5-10pm.) I was literally jumping around in the backseat until we reached the hotel. I went to check in, than moved all my stuff from the car to the room. There were lots of stuff. Afterall, I was cosplaying all three days and there were clothing, props�etc. I even brought extra pieces of cloth, scissors, tape and my sewing kit. ^.^ It was a good thing I had all the backup stuff too: when I was getting out my props, the bottom piece fell from my �quiver?and of course all (3) arrows fell out. <.< (The quiver got fixed that night�which was good since I was using it the very next day. ^^;) The Days Inn was filled with convention staff since the hotel was literally down the block from the convention center. (You just turn right as soon as you walk out of the hotel and you can see one of the major entrances to the con center. ^.^)

Last minute prep (w/ sleep)

After teaching my father how to use the keycard (to rm. 201, ^.^) I organized all my stuff near the window and took the nearby bed (my parents let me take the bed with more �floor room?for all my stuff. ^-^) Then my father and I walked to the convention center to pick up my badge. It was so cool. Already there were people cosplaying and I saw some awesome props. (My father got a glimpse of what I�ll be doing the next day. ^.^) After I picked up my badge and programs, we returned to the hotel. I spent the evening watching tv (yay for hotel amenities, ^.^) fixing my quiver and finishing up my spear. I also spent a looooonng time figuring out my schedule for the next 3 days (which panels, events,) and got really bouncy after staring at everything. It was close to 1am (I think ^^;) when I finally set my cell alarm and went to sleep.
