arigato gozaimas to GL!
My friend and previous co-worker, GL came to the office to pick me up after work and we travelled to her apartment in Chinatown. Besides letting me stay at her apartment, she also arranged for a car service for me for the entire weekend. No more calling early in the morning and late at night worrying about getting a car service! *cheers* Also, since it's the same person who is coming to pick me up, I don't need to worry about the location of the pick up and drop off...since it will be the same. ^.^ Yay for GL!
my kingdom for an iron...
I forgot my iron and e-mailed out to my co-workers in hopes of borrowing one. "Does anyone have gum, floss, an iron...in their bag?" lol It wasn't like that but some ppl gave me that kind of response. ^_^ Finally, I got a hold of another previous co-worker and he brought the iron over to the apartment (since he lives in Chinatown as well.) It was one of the old kinds...an antique iron! With cloth wiring and everything.... o.O I was afraid of breaking it but it was fine. ^-^
slippery egg ying yang
We dropped the stuff at the apartment and watched "Sex and the City" on GL's ibook. Well, just the beginning since I loved the scene of the two guys kissing.... We went out for Malaysian (at the restaurant in the tunnel near EC) and ordered hot and sour soup, roti and 'slippery egg ying yang' (in Cantonese) which was really yummy. It had flat and crispy noodles covered with seafood sauce.... Oishi! Afterwards, we stopped by the Chinatown Ice Cream factory for some green tea ice cream. ^-^
usual con prep
I began to iron my Ritsuka outfit-pants and jacket-as well as my Tomoyo-hime outfit. It didn't take as long as usual since I didn't have much to iron. Afterwards, I took a shower and got all my stuff together that was needed for the tomorrow. I charged my cell, camera and my mp4 player. GL: You're draining my electricity. Me: *stares at the outlet* Oh...sorry. ^^; lol
Bed was the awesome foldout sofa in the living room. I read Loveless vol. 8 (again) and fell asleep.
