For once, I'm more prepared
This year, I was alot better with my timing. ^^; I woke up, finished folding clothes and packed. I only forgot 3 things which were inconsequential to the convention itself. My umbrella, which is item no. 4 that I forgotten, is semi-important since it drizzled tonight, but hopefully won't rain throughout the weekend. ^.^
GPS => we kinda know where we're going
Armed with a map, directions and GPS, we circled around the Harmon Meadow area and stumbled upon my hotel around 4:30pm. ^^; I had a funny convo with the dude at the front desk. Dude: Who are you going to shoot with those arrows? Me: Stray fanboys. ^-^ Dude: I'll keep out of your way. Me: ^__^ After checking in, I discovered that my hotel room has wireless. Yay! I set okaasan on her way, rested and ironed my cosplay outfits.
At 7pm, I headed to the expo center to pick up my badge. Correction, from 7-8pm, I headed to the expo center to wait for my pre-reg badge. I watched Ouran ep. 16 and Loveless ep. 9 on my mp4 player while waiting. ^-^ It was drizzily but the line stretch to the parking lot so I was dry at the beginning. ^^;
After picking up my badge, I headed to Outback for dinner instead of my usual restaurant, Houlihan's. There, I was asked the typical question: 'Is there a concert going on?' by the waiter. I told him it was an anime con, smiled and gave my order. The Ahi Tuna Chopped Salad was totally yummy. I want to eat it again before I leave. During my meal, I called P-chan for some 'gift consultation.' When the waiter came by to take my plate, P-chan said something to the equivalent of 'She wants your telephone number!' on the phone...to the waiter. O.o Good thing he didn't hear her. ^^;
It was back to the hotel, I washed and braided my hair, did my nails and watched the end of Bleach and FMA ep. 4 on tv before falling asleep.
