Use the following guidelines to organize and create your time capsule.
 

  Brainstorm all of the areas of art that you want to have in your time capsule.
 

  Find examples in books or on the internet that illustrate something created  through art that illustrates something essential to the current generation.
 
 

  Find an container for your time capsule.  This can be anything.  A box that you decorate or a chest of some sort.  Be creative.  This is your first impression to the future.
 
 

  Cover the inside of the box with something attractive.  This can be cloth, decopage, contact paper, or recent new aricles containing art.
 
 
 

  Fill your capsule with artifacts.  You can make models of famous sculpture, pieces of pottery, collages, jewelry, etc.  You can also include clothing, CD's, shoes, picture, etc.
 

Remember that you are trying to convince future generations of the importance of art so make it inspirational!
