Predict and Infer

                            "Was your prediction or inference confirmed?"

Retell                   

                            "What was this book about?"

                            "What did you learn?"

Visualize

                            "What pictures, smells, sounds, tastes, and touches

                             come to mind as I read this?"

Connect

                            "What does this story remind you of?"

                            "Have you seen something similar in other books?"

Evaluate

                            "What do you think about this book? Why?"
