Discussion and conclusions
1. Optimal conditions of immunostaining were established by using color video image analysis.
2. Cell-specific quantitation of proteins was possible by measuring MOD from classified immuno-positive cells.
3. Androgen dependence of AR expression in CWR22 animal model was demonstrated.
4. Prostate cancers showed higher AR expression compared to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
