Kimberly's Day Care
Today at Kimberly's Day Care we:
* used our �Butterfly Color Display�
focused on the �diamond� shape
* sang a song �I�m a Great Big Butterfly� (tune:
�Mary Had a Little Lamb�)
* read book called �Book of Shapes�
* Caleb Corn puppet visited
* played a diamond matching game
* colored a matching page with diamond shapes
* looked around for diamond shapes
* explored a deck of playing cards
picked out the diamond cards
* laid down on the floor and made a
diamond shape with our bodies
* worked with our Circus Math Manipulative
and used square shaped blocks, turned the
block so it was a diamond and laid the cards
on top of the diamonds
* did Calendar Time and Weather Bear
