Dear Mr. Wyman:

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my letter. As a fan of Days of Our Lives, I want to be able to share my enjoyment, but as of late the show is lacking greatly, and the key is core characters and roots of the show. In particular, the Brady family and a core family member,Kimberly, as played by the talented Patsy Pease.

This past May showed all the viewers what they have been missing, and what the show so sorely needs….. to get back to it's roots. Those three days Kimberly was back with her family was like the good ole Days, that fans loved and WANT again. Since the show has to start somewhere, why not start with Patsy, since she has already been brought back and the fans reaction has been nothing more than fantastic! I know you are trying to get the show back to where it was in the late 80's and early 90's. The key to this is to bring back more of the fan favorites, like you have done with such characters as Doug and Julie, Bo and Hope and Jack and Jennifer, just to name a few.

Just to remind you, Patsy along with her co-star Charles Shaughnessy(Shane Donovan) created one of Days most loved SUPERCOUPLES…. Kimberly and Shane! The key to this equation was CHEMISTRY( which they had ozzing out of every pore) and the fans ate it up. This is what soap operas are missing today….. the SUPERCOUPLES. When has a soap fan said lately they can't wait to see their soap when the weekend arrived? As a long time viewer, I can tell you when Kim and shane were on, and it was a weekend, I counted the hours until I could live the romance, adventure, and excitement with them.

I know with the writing team you have, it wouldn't take much effort to write Kimberly back into the canvas. Patsy would be bring along a lot of loyal and devoted fans that tuned out Days, and also she would draw in a contingent of new ones.

Please restore my faith in a show I have believed in for so long, and bring back the fan favorites.

I want you to know until something is done I plan to write and also spread the word to others to do the same. I know you are fair and will listen to the pleas of all the many fans around the world.
