| About the owner... Kim began Fancy Furs & Pet-icures in 1994 as a mobile grooming service in Erie County. Fancy Furs has had a home based salon in Amherst since 2000. Kim has over fourteen years experience in the grooming field having worked under a local groomer before completing professional grooming school. She has worked for two local groomers as well as working as the sole groomer for Alden Small Animal Hospital. Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College having completed electives in pet health and nutrition. She is currently working toward a Doctorate degree in Theology from Trinity School of Apologetics and Theology. Kim is an apologist and advocate for Young-Earth Creation. |
