Lithe like a cat
Intelligent like a human
Fur glimmers in the moonlight
The shadows hide it well
Feet pound the ground
Sparkling amber eyes
Mouth agape
Breath coming out in clouds
A song rises to the sky
Like a sweet melody
Alowly a figure emerges
A four-legged majesting creature
A canine smile upon its face
It's tail waving it's greeting
Wisdom reflecting in its eyes
As once again it merges with the shadows
