Questions

Do we ever really know ourselves? Can we ever see ourselves as others do? Would we want to? Should we ever know ourselves? Would we then be done, finished, complete? Do we not discover new things about ourselves all the time? Aren't those the good parts of life, discovering new things about yourself? What if that was to stop one day? What if you never discovered something new about yourself again, never amazed yourself again, never turned and looked inside, and said "wow", or even just "huh?"

Do you want to know yourself completely? Aren't there things you'd rather hide, those deep dark secrets you swear you will never tell, the ones you're remembering and trying desperately to stuff back into your subconscious even as you're reading this? Do you think you will ever tell someone about these things? Is there some part of you that wants to? Some part that wants to be tortured for them as penance, or to find others like you and be accepted for them?

Are you really as cool as you think? You think you're the , don't you? Well? Are you? Are you really ever as stupid/pretty/ugly/funny/witty/dry/edgy/cynical/fat/dreamy/sarcastic/ moody/motivated/twisted/deep/normal/unique/ /attractive/repulsive/romantic/moronic/ talented/hopeless/intelligent/soulful/helpful/kind/caring/merciful/rational/sensitive/non-judgemental/conscious as you think?

Are you racist? Can we ever be not racist? Do you see someone of a different colour and think "black/hispanic/white/asian/insert-colour/race-here girl/boy" before any other thought hits your head? Is that wrong? Were you raised to feel guilty about that? Or do you like putting people into boxes; in hopes they'll stay there forever?

What do you believe in? God/science/logic/Allah/Buddha/Krishna/your ancestors/nymphs and dryads/yourself/money/the here and now/something you know is there but can't fully explain? Are you religious? Do you really know what that word means? Have you ever looked it up? Do you think religion and/or a belief in something higher than yourself makes you weak, that it is a crutch? Is religion your whole life? Is everyone else wrong, and your chosen religion is right? Is that really what you personally think? Is that a logical thought? Do religion and logic have anything to do with each other? Do you believe in what you know is true, or what others tell you is true? Did you choose your religion or were you brought up in it? Does that make a difference?

Do you want to improve yourself? Do you have goals for yourself? How many do you have? How long have you had them? How many can you check off? Will you ever complete them, really? What happens if you do? Is your life complete, or do you just make new ones and start over?

Are you a bad person? Are you a good driver? Are there really any bad people or good drivers?

Does anyone have answers? Would you want to know them if he/she/it did?

Do you need some time to think?
