The Dance
Bryan
She dances her way through my mind’s eye
Singing out the joy in her heart, the love
Her every move perfection, her eyes aglow
With the ecstasy of the dance.
The life, the love flowing through her
Radiating the purest beauty.
The observer cannot help but love her
As she spins, a song of the most wondrous joy
On her lips.
Caught up in the dance, the observer
Tastes what Heaven could be,
Wanting to join in the beauty of the song,
But afraid to interrupt its delicate precision
To ruin the scene with his bluntness.
The observer turns away, a tear in his eye,
Her beauty too much to bear.
She catches his hand, drawing him to her,
Pulling him into the dance.
Together they revel in the dance’s beauty
As their hearts are filled with each other.
They never stop
The dance continues forever
She and I together.
