TAMBAR EXCHANGE POINT

SAFE ZONE FOR FREES

NO PROTECTION FOR SLAVES

The Tambar Exchange Point is a long stretch of empty beach along Forest Coast, in the North.  Located on the shore of Tambar Gulf, there is deep water just offshore for large ships, but a wide sandy beach as well.  The tide is strong enough to beach a large ship, and float it out with high tide.  The location is perfect for an Exchange, as it is convenient to Torvaldsland and collects goods from the Northern area of the Forest, as the denizens of this part of the Forest have difficulty taking their goods farther south to the Exchanges nearer the Laurius River.  Some Merchants make a business exclusively of buying goods cheaply here, and shipping them south to the busier Exchanges to sell them at a premium.

Although this is an isolated location, and somewhat of a wild backwater, it is essential to Trade, and policed under Merchant Law, by a squad of mercenaries who keep the peace.  While the Mercs can be bribed to turn a blind eye to a spar for friendly wagers, they are incorruptible in regards to protecting the safety of Free Persons.

The entire Room is a Safe Trading Zone.  Weapons are discouraged, and any violence against any Free Person is invalid.  This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to grasp, attempting to strike, attempting to injure, attempting to kill, or attempting to collar.  Sparring, consenual furring, and voluntary submission are allowed.

Unescorted slaves are quite welcome at the Exchange.  They enjoy no protection, but they are welcome to seek a force-collaring here.
