* March 10th through 14th marks the municipality of La Trinindad in
Benguet, known as the Strawberry Capital of the Philippines. This event
features the baking of the largest strawberry cake including a trade fair
on strawberry products and cut flowers.

The PASA-PASA Festival in Monreal, Masbate, is a premier summer
festivity held from April 14th through 18th dedicated to the beautiful
presence of Manta Rays in the locality. Pasa Pasa is the Bicol dialect
for the manta ray (manta birostris) considered one of the five (5)
largest species of fish in the world and now an endangered pelagic.

On April 15th, Salubong in Angono, Rizal, is the Black Saturday is
highlighted by 3-hour presentation of �Vigilia na Muling Pagkabuhay�
at the patio of the church
.
* On the following day, Easter Sunday, a
celebration is held of the reunion of the Risen Christ with Virgin Mary is
reenacted. It is then followed by a religious dancing of young ladies
called �Kapitana� and �Tenyenta�, to the tune of �Bati�.

During the month of May, Flores de Mayo Santacruzan is celebrated
throughout the Philippines. A parade of the town's loveliest ladies
depicting the search and discovery of Christ's Cross by Queen Helena
and Constantine.

June 15 A celebration of the separation of Malay from Buruanga which includes a Discovery Tour and Municipal Paraw Regatta.

PINEAPPLE/PINYASAN FESTIVAL - Camarines Norte June 15 - 24 A colorful festival showcasing the province�s primary agri-product, the sweetest �queen� pineapple called Formosa.

* BANANA FESTIVAL - Tagum, Davao del Norte July 1- July 10 Street dancing, agri trade fair to highlight Davao del Norte as �banana country�.

* PHIL-AM FRIENDSHIP DAY - Baguio City July 4 A revival of friendship among Filipinos, Americans & other Nationalities accented with the sale exposition of variety products.

* PASALABOK FESTIVAL - Dipolog City July 6 This 93RD fiesta also called ADLAW SA DIPOLOG aims to showcase the myriad interplay of cultures: Muslim, Lumad and the varied and diverse culture of the settlers from all over the Philippines as well as the Spanish, Chinese, American and other Asian cultures that have been woven into what is known as the unique Mindanao tri-people culture.

* TSINELAS FESTIVAL - City of Gapan, Nueva Ecija August 25 To mark the anniversary of the town�s cityhood, Gapan City holds its annual Tsinelas Festival, with street dancing, parade of floats decorated with regular to gigantic 7 ft. slippers the famous slippers bazaar. The festival is aimed at bolstering the new city�s claim as the North Slippers Capital.
