The Niedermeyer Family

Janosne (John) Niedermeyer was born March 10, 1877 in Marozalto, Veszprem M. Hungary and died November 10, 1953 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co. Ohio.  His parents were Mihal Niedermeyer and Roza Magy. He married Borbala (Barbara) Makrai on February 2, 1902 in Marczalto Veszprem M. Hungary. She was the daughter of Istvan Makrai and Roza Kod. Barbara was born November 19, 1879 in Sobor, Sopron County, Hungary and died December 17th, 1954 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. 

They had nine children together.  (My mother's father was William Niedermeyer, the sixth child born). John arrived to America in 1907. Barbara later arrived with Helen and Rose on November 6th, 1909. Port of Entry: Ellis Island on the S. Floride. Their third child, Olga was born in West Virginia. The next four children were born in Rossford, Wood Co., Ohio which is outside of Toledo. The last two sons, born in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio where they settled by the year 1921.
