"We had a very successful start to this years SCOR competition
last Sunday night in Pallasgreen finishing 2nd overall. Our
novelty were victorous admist stiff competition, while Anette
O'Connor securing the recitation. Our quiz team Damien O'Dwyer,
Brendan O'Keeffe and Joe Dillion were beaten into second by the
narrowest of margins into second place. Our setdancing team of
Pat, Eddie, Eibhear, Liam, Yvonne, Sinead O'Dea, Jackie McCarthy
and Antonette Lane performed very well on the night.
There will be a players meeting this Friday night in the hall at
8:30pm at which each team managment will outline their plans for
the year. All player must make know their intentions for the comming
season.
There will be a bus going to the Limerick/Calre game in the Gaelic
grounds on March 4th. Entry to the game will be free and a fee of
£1.50 will be charged for the bus. This is open to all our U-14
players. All interested contact Padraig O'Dea or any member of
the Juvenille club committee.
