Hi,

Please include the following notice in the club notes section for the
Kilteely/Dromkeen GAA club.

"A very sucessful AGM was held last Friday night. It was established that the club was an all time low and that it would take a lot of work and committment from club officals, players and club members to get it back on track again. The chairman paid tribute to officers of the club in the past and thanked them for all their work and effort to keep the club going through the good times and the poorer times.
Because of the enthuasism and excitement generated by the large crowd, the committee had to be expanded to accomodate extra members who are willing to work to restore the club and pride in our parish. At last fridays meeting a bright future was painted in the chairmans address, with the appearance of new youthful faces at the top table and new poeple involved in the clubs committee. Though we are a long ways form achieving successs on the playing field great efforts were initiated on Friday nigth. Ultimately now the success of the club lies in the committment and determination of the playes.

Already the evidence of the work ethitic is there with a large number of members recruited for the Limerick Development GAA draw by the working club committee.

Next Friday night sees the first meeting of the club committee at 8pm in the hall as we move forward to get the best managment teams in position for 2001.

Next Saturday night the Juvenille AGM will be held in the hall commencing at 8pm, at which we would like to see a large parental attendance. 2000 was a very successful year for our underage teams and we need to continue this developing trend in 2001.

Life President Pake O'Dea,
President Fr. Tom Egan,
Chairman Eibhear O'Dea,
Vice Chairman Dan Murphy, Pat Keogh.
Secretary Damien O'Dwyer,
Asst secretary Phillip Murphy,
