Hi,

Please include the following notes in the club notes section
of the county edition of the Limerick leader.

"It has been a busy week for the junior teams with a mixed
bag of results. A win over St. Patricks in the county football
league in a score of Kilteely/Dromkeen 1-7 St. Particks 0-9 kicked
the week off to a good start. The game was the last in the competition
in which we won 2 games got one walk over and were defeated twice
by the table toppers. Over all it was well worthwhile taking part in
the competition as many young players got to display their ability
and show they will be pushing for a place come championship time.

Last Sunday night we were to play Caherconlish in the junior A
east football league. Caherconlish conceeded the game and we
received a walk over. The 20 strong Kilteely/Dromkeen
contigentant played a 10 a side game insted. We are top of the
table in the east junior football league with 2 walk overs from
Cappamore and Caherconlish and a win over Knockane we are to
play Murroe Boher next Monday at 2pm in Murroe and South Liberties
the following Sunday.

Unfortunately our Junior hurlers are not showing the same form as
the footballers. Another defeat by Pallas last Saturday night gives
us the wooden spoon in the east junior hurling league. The championship
is realisticly only 6 weeks away. A hugh improvement is required by
all players, some of whom have not shown any appearance yet this year.
We need to get back on track if we are to achieve anything in 2000.

Our U-12 footballers which have been burning up the the pitches in
east Limerick will hopefuly be followed by our U-12 hurlers who have
received 2 walk overs and have beaten Ballybricken in the 9 a side
competition last Friday night in a score of Kitleely/Dromkeen 1-9
Ballybricken 0-1. Both sides were even in the first half in a score
of just one point each. Kilteely/Dromkeen exploded in the second
half with an all round great team performance and ended up well deserved
victors. The pannel was, K. Daly(C), M. Ryan, D. Ahern, D. O'Neil, P.Ahern,
G. Murphy, M.Daly, B. O'Connell, S. Holton, K. O'Mahony, P. O'Mahony,
Davie Murphy, Darren Murphy, C. O'Dea, P. Maloney.

Juvenille training Saturday morning at 11:00am and Wednesday night at
7:00pm. The upcomming day out will be taking place at the end of June.
Training attendance will guarantee you a place.

U-14 hurling verses Fedamore in Fedamore on Monday june 5th.

Thank you.

Regards,
Eoin.
