Hi,

Please include the following notes in the club notes section
of the county edition of the Limerick leader.

"A grey shadow was drawn over the the Kilteely/Dromkeen junior hurling
campaign last Sunday night when we suffered a heavy defeat at the
hands of Caherline. We got the first 2 points and were edging
ahead through out the field when diasater number one hit, and Caherline
took a one point lead with a goal. This was followed by a second. Our full back
could not handle Caherlines full forwards ability claim posession of the sliotar
at half time we were down 5 points with 3 goals conceeded. The second half was
pretty much the same with Caherline dominating throughout, it was an easy victory
for Caherline.

The mood was down hearted after the game, it will be a though test of character
for the young hurling team who have been trying hard of their own accord over the
past months with little experience. Saturday night we take on Cappamore in the
back door stages of the championship to book a slot in the east semi-final. We
will be eager to put old ghosts to rest and restore our winning ways. We are the
active hurlers of the parish, our defeat on Sunday night has made us more determined
to do better and quiten our critics. The team lined out as follows.

A. McCarthy, E. O'Dea, E. English, M. Smalle, R. English, P. Keogh, J. Ryan,
P. Redfern, J. Prendergast, T. Hanley, L. O'Dea, D. O'Neil, C. Ryan, J. Quinlan,
M-J English, Introduced, P. Regan, C. Murphy, T. Kenny, B. O'Keeffe.

The juvenille day out to Trobolgan will take place on Saturday Aug 12th, anyone
wishing to travel attend training next Saturday morning at 11am for details. This
promises to be a very enjoyable day."

Regards,
Eoin.
