- Flare decoy dispenser with 25 shot capacity.
- Smoke decoy dispenser with 25 shot capacity.
VII. Armament:
Gun units:
- 1 x Bioroid Blaster carried in one of the mecha's hands.
Cannon fires particle beam blasts in full automatic mode at a high setting of 30 MJ and 16 pulses per minute or a low setting of 15 MJ and 32 pulses per minute.
This weapon is powered directly from its own Protoculture energizer.
Cannons:
(Interceptor):
- 2 x RRG PL-7 triple barrel laser cannons in the shoulder thruster mounts.
This cannon can fire a laser beam with a yield of 3.32 MJ per barrel every .09 second.
(Stormtrooper, Observer):
- RRG PL-7 triple barrel laser cannon in the right side
shoulder thruster mount. This cannon can fire a laser beam with a yield of 3.32 MJ
per barrel every .09 second.
Missiles:
- 2 x MM-16 internal missile system in the legs. Each system
consists of two groups of eight launch tubes, and carries 16 SRAAMs inboard the mecha.
Miscellaneous:
- 1 x T'luaza Milldiem 281 model assault rifle.
- or 1 x Naz'aa Sendel 2060 model carbine.
- 1 x Tirolian Service Committee medium or large survival kit.
VIII. Armor:
The armor on the Bioroid is a Tirolian hybrid of
state-of-the-art Terran low-mass composite Chobham plating and older formulations
developed by the Robotech Masters. Aside from the respectable protection provided
against projectiles, missiles, and other kinetic weapons, this armor is also
resistant to plasma globes (annihilation discs), lasers, and to a lesser extent,
particle guns, owing to the fact that the armor can flake off and evaporate in
layers under fire from such high-energy weapons, taking much of the weapon's energy
and converting it into the latent heat of sublimation in the armor.
The armor stops all small arms fire and heavy infantry weapons fire;
provides excellent resistance to light mecha-mounted weaponry, such as the Zentraedi 22.3mm HE autocannon round; provides good to fair
resistance to medium mecha-mounted weaponry, such as the Valkyrie's
55mm APFSDS round, and poor resistance to heavy mecha-mounted
weaponry, such as the VHT's 105mm smoothbore shells.
The Bioroid life support system provides full protection from nuclear, biological, and
chemical hazards, using an overpressure cockpit environment activated
by radiation and hazardous chemical sensors, or manually when such
warfare conditions are anticipated. The internal consumables supplies
can provide atmosphere for 78 hours maximum.
