Vision
This one was inspired by one of my rare dates. :)
my eyes beheld an angel
her hair and skin so fair
she seemed a waking vision
before me in the air
the sparkle in her eyes
revealed an inner glow
the smile on her face
allowed her worth to show
a voice that soothed my soul
so wise beyond her years
a calm, assuring presence
that silenced all my fears
my arms, they ached to hold
a treasure great as she
perhaps she caught a glimmer
of hope inside of me
she blessed me with a hug
one I will not forget
if there is any better
I haven�t felt one yet
