Ring the Bell
What can I say about this one? I wrote it to show the contrast of good and bad, and how sometimes it is hard to tell which is best way to achieve something.
Some say God loves you and me.
Some say you die and cease to be.
Say a prayer and ring the bell.
Can you tell?
One man fights to save a life.
One man hides �mid toil and strife.
Wave a flag and ring the bell.
Can you tell?
Some tell lies to get their fame.
Some tell truth and find the same.
Make your mark and ring the bell.
Can you tell?
One man runs to win a prize.
One man crawls and somehow flies.
Finish first and ring the bell.
Can you tell?
Some find peace and look no more.
Some search on in hope of more.
Take a chance and ring the bell.
Can you tell?
One man whispers, secrets known.
One man screams, but still alone.
Join the crowd and ring the bell.
Can you tell?
Halfway full or empty cup.
Who�s to say which way is up?
It�s not for us to ring the bell.
