Give It Away
I guess I wrote this one to explain why people hurt others sometimes, and also to show that when you DO feel good, it is time to share what you have found.
At times there's so much pain inside
I have to find a place to hide
It seems the grief will never leave
I wonder if I still believe
Sometimes I spread the pain around
I bring the ones around me down
I hate having to feel this way
I try to give the hurt away
But always in the end I find
A Savior who is warm and kind
He lifts me up and turns me round
To where true happiness is found
And then I spread the joy around
I have to share the peace I've found
I like it when I feel this way
I try to give the love away
