The lovely, wonderful, talented and bright KATHLEEN gave me a lesson in Photoshop. Thankfully the lesson still mostly works in Paint Shop Pro, which is what I have. *sweatdrop* Anyway, now I'm all over it and making stuff. Just keep in mind that I never said it was *good* stuff. Just stuff.

Anime Wallpaper
These are all in 1024x768 format, and they range in size from about 80k to about 125k. Scroll over each for commentary.

This one's 359k. Really, REALLY red. That's Touga and Rose Bride Utena in the background, and Utena and Chigusa in the foreground. Chigusa is NOT a fan character - she's the new duelist found in the video game. Not one of my favorite projects, but it looks okay. Everything in the background is in black and white ... except for the fact that they all have pink hair and blue eyes like Utena. Lots of stuff going on here. Cryptic use of lyrics from Snow White. If you look closely enough you can see Utena and Anthy reaching for each other lightly silhouetted on the castle. Everything in this is purple except the characters' eyes and Akio's rose. Ah, Slayers. My favorite anime. That's my all time favorite picture of Lina and Gourry in the foreground, black and white screencaps from the show in the background. The screenshots have random coloring here and there, just for effect.

Digital Photography
Watch - My watch set on top of my Environmental Science book from last semester. I turned the book sort of yellowish and made the text sharper. Watch is in true color. NEW!
Eyeliner - Photo of me, cropped to just my eye, blown up, contrast and brightness adjusted, then I did some sort of Photoshoppy artistic effect to it but I can't remember what.
Crystal Ball - Me holding a crystal ball. The only color is in the ball itself, everything else is black and white, brightness contrast adjusted, and I think I might have messed with the lighting.
Albuquerque Sunset - Full color. My digicam didn't capture the color faithfully but it still came out pretty neat. I adjusted slightly for contrast, otherwise this photo is true to the original. That's the silhouette of a roller coaster in the foreground. I live near the crap theme park. Whee.
Wineglass - Background blurred, foreground sharpened, contrast and brightness adjusted to an extreme, spotlighting. At first I wanted to redo this one due to the fingerprints on the glass but I've come to like it that way.

Funny
Triad as Hogwarts Students - I even used a quote from a real Triad discussion. All you need to know is Clint doesn't know the first thing about Harry Potter.
Mercury in Disguise - Clint told me my new hairdo looks like Ami from Sailormoon so I made this for him, complete with creepy anime eyes.
Souls are Yummy - But of course, Clint always has to have the last word. The bastard.
This Would Turn You and Dirty Old Pirate - Clint tried to turn me straight by showing me the first picture. Then he made me laugh by showing me the second. Go see The Wall of Shame for the quotes that led into this piece of scary fun.
Lame Ass Friend - Kathleen was trying to prove a point on AIM. Head to the Wall o' Shame for background quotes.
I Love Lucy - A horrible merger with Harry Potter goes wrong. I am a twisted individual.
