Name: Tia. Sometimes called Majesty by her friends due to her regal nature.
Sex: Female
Age: Average age for one of the Girls, probably around 19.
Appearance: Long black hair, green eyes, very dark skin, of average height for a woman in the kumpania. She dressed extremely provocatively as a young girl and though she is more covered as she ages, the style is still there. She wears a turquoise top, black skirt, and purple gauzey scarf/shawl. She has a few piercings in each ear and always wears a gold locket, which is intricately engraved with different mythological animals. She is tough, but she retains her feminity despite that.
Education: Was taught illusion magics as well as more intricate ones, but refuses to reveal who her teacher was. Can also defend herself when attacked, though she is not a warrior by any means.
Occupation: Kumpania healer, illusionist.
Ethnicity: Full-blooded Romani.
Marital status: Never married, few boyfriends in her past. Has given up on romance in general.
Children: Had a daughter, Jade, by her attacker when she was 15 or 16. Jade died a few weeks after birth.
Significant relationships: Has an older sister, Xandra, and an older brother (whose name I cannot recall at the moment), but they are not at all close. Their parents died when Tia was 7, her brother about 12, and Xandra 15. Her best friend, Sapphire is her most important relationship. She is friends with the other girls, but Sapphire is her dearest companion. She acts as a sort of mother figure to Mirabella later in her life. At some point, Ronek manages to win enough of her trust to become a sort of big brother to her.
Obsessions: Deep hatred and distrust for men. Throws herself into her magics, sometimes locking herself away for several days performing spells and so on.
Beliefs: Believes men are the scum of the earth. Believes that life is pain and suffering. A deep cynic.
Sexual history: One man who loved her deeply but disappeared sometime between her 13th and 15th birthday (she won't reveal any details). Then another man she was with when she was 15, Montano, attacked her and left her pregnant. There is a man in the current kumpania who is fond of her, but that is as far as the relationship will ever go.
Religion: Deeply committed to a religion that only she truly understands. The moon, whom she calls Selene, is a major figure in this religion.
Fears: Men, intimacy, attachment, people hurting her.
Habits: Burning incense and candles, glaring into space without meaning to.
Personality flaws: Sharp tongue, easily-inflamed temper, biting sarcasm, sometimes a bit rude, a deep and irreversible cynic.
Personality strengths: Loyal to the death, defends those she is close to, strong sense of character and identity, supportive of those she loves.
Favorite possession: Her locket.
Where does this character live: Born in Calais, moves to Paris, spends a few years searching for Sapphire when she disappears, returns to Paris in order to raise Mirabella, stays there until her death.
What does this character want: Someone to love her unconditionally.
Why does this character want this: Her parents died when she was only a child, her siblings simply raised her (they did not actively love her -- none of the siblings in her family is close to any of the others), and the only men she ever loved either left her behind or hurt her badly.
What happens as a results of this desire: She becomes cynical and cold, but she does become friends with Sapphire, which softens her up a bit.
Additional notes: Tia originally belonged to Dani-chan, and Sapphire and Tia became extensions of ourselves. Dani has since given me permission to take Tia and make her into my own version of the character in accordance with what I needed in my stories. My Tia is by no means the same as Dani's, she simply has the same roots.
