Name: Mirabella. Her family and friends usually just call her Mira. If I recall correctly it means "Little beautiful one."

Sex: Female.

Age: Depends on the arc. During Sapphire's time she's usually between infancy and the age of six. During the second generation arc, she's usually about the same age as other kids in her generation, if not slightly younger (Sapphire had her later in life).

Appearance: Dark brown curly hair down to her waist, blue eyes, and skin that is slightly lighter than most Romani, but not light enough to be considered a gadje. She dresses in purples, fushias, blues, and sea greens. Her skirts are slightly longer than most females and she wears boots on her feet, since her legs are so mangled and walking is difficult for her. During her wild stage (more below) she gave herself several piercings, though she takes out most of them when she settles down.

Education: She was taught the art of fortune telling by her surrogate mother, Tia. Sapphire tried teaching her to read and write but it didn't go over very well.

Occupation: She is the kumpania's fortune teller and seer, an art she also practices in the streets for money.

Ethnicity: Her mother was half gadje, her father full-blooded Romani. She is therefore 3/4 Romani.

Marital status: She finally settles down after her wild stage and marries Galen, Aspen's son.

Children: Five, if you can believe that. Ronek (named after her father), Brishen, Tobbar, Durriken (her favorite), and Sapphire (named after her mother).

Significant relationships: Deeply in love with Galen. Also loves her children, though the two youngest are her favorites (not that she'd ever admit that out loud).

Obsessions: Fortune-telling and, when she settles down, raising her family.

Beliefs: That you need to outgrow your childish behavior before you can really begin to love your life.

Sexual history: She has several flings with men when she is younger, and even one or two flings with females. This is considered her 'wild stage' and once she grows out of it, she marries Galen.

Religion: None. She believes in her visions only.

Fears: Change and death, since both were what took her mother away from her.

Habits: Rubbing her mangled legs through her skirts, rarely smiles.

Personality flaws: Explosively wild and rebellious as a teenager due to the loss of her mother. As an adult, she is sometimes withdrawn and moody due to her visions.

Personality strengths: Great inner strength and compassion and love for her children.

Favorite possession: Her children and husband.

Where does this character live: Paris.

What does this character want: Love and stability.

Why does this character want this: Her mother died when she was a child, and the abandonment issues that stemmed from that aren't pleasant.

What happens as a result of this desire: She has a wild, angry stage, followed by a stage of maturity and stability when she marries Galen.

Additional notes: Wow, lots of interesting tidbits about Mira. First of all, Mira is Sapphire's only surviving offspring. Berto, Sapphire's illegitimate son, dies when he's around four. Mira is born with a stillborn twin brother. Also, Sapphire herself dies when Mira is between four and ten (I have to mess with the timeline to get a more exact age). Ronek is devastated and as a result, Tia becomes her surrogate mother. Tia's not exactly the maternal sort and between Tia's moodiness and Mira's abandonment issues, her teenage years are hell on toast. But Mira is my favorite second generation character, probably due to her lineage (that and a ton of the other second generations characters are way lame). Mira is also my only crippled character.
