Name: Kasaiya. Nickname is Patch, but only among close friends and family.
Sex: Female.
Age: Nearly the same age as Sapphire, only a few months older.
Appearance: Long, straight, dark brown (nearly black) hair, skin lighter than most Romani but certainly not light enough to be mistake for a gadje. Eyes are bright green. Eyepatch over left eye (she had an accident while training in swordsmanship). Dresses in purples and greens. Of average height for a woman in her kumpania at about 5'5 or 5'6. If she were around today, her body type would be described as buff.
Education: Was taught fighting techniques by her grandmother Trinity and her father Lark.
Occupation: Markswoman. Takes bets on targets. 'Performs' this art in the streets.
Ethnicity: Her father was full Romani, her mother only 1/2. She is therefore 3/4 Romani.
Marital status: Not applicable. Too young.
Children: See above.
Significant relationships: Very close to her father, Lark. Her mother is Aspen's daughter, Judelle, but she is not very close to her. Her best friend is her cousin, Sapphire (whose father, Galen, is Judelle's brother). She also loves her male cousins, Tobbar most of all - she delights in teasing and flirting with him.
Obsessions: Weapons and jokes. Strange combination, I know.
Beliefs: That life is to be enjoyed and to live each moment to its fullest.
Sexual history: None, though sometimes I wonder if she'll let Tobbar introduce her to that particular world. Hmm.
Religion: None.
Fears: Losing her family, especially her father and cousins.
Habits: Chewing her lip, biting her nails.
Personality flaws: When she does manage to lose her temper, it's explosive. She also has a sharp wit and a sarcastic sense of humor that sometimes results in tactlessness.
Personality strengths: Devoted to and protective of those she loves, able to make people smile, cheerful and mostly optimistic.
Favorite possession: Her crossbow, probably. And her cousins.
Where does this character live: Paris
What does this character want: A happy existence.
Why does this character want this: She's a happy sort of girl, so it's only natural.
What happens as a results of this desire: Not quite sure just yet. Mwaha.
Additional notes: I think Kasaiya's adorable. She's my first character to have any sort of real, longlasting physical problems (she is blind in her left eye). I also find it interesting that despite the loss of half her eyesight, she's a markswoman. Finally, she is the descendant of Aspen and Trinity, two of my original eight base characters.
